Practical help and support groups

Inspire Welshpool Cancer Support Group Coming to terms with cancer for both patient and close family and friends is often a difficult time. You may find it a help to talk with someone who has already experienced what you are going through. We are a group who have experience of cancer, either personally or within a circle of family and friends. The group is formed by people who felt the need for a local group. We talk and offer help to each other and also have access to professional advice if required. The atmosphere at meetings is friendly and informal. Don't be afraid to attend our meetings, thinking all we do is talk about illness - nothing could be further from the truth. Laughter and lively debate are common! We organise in house meetings, speakers, outings and meals out, and above all, we offer advice and support, guidance, confidentiality and a chance to make new friends. All ages and genders are welcome.
